Siem Reap

Designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1992, Siem Reap is your entrance to the Khmer Empire and a world of ancient temples, nestling in the verdant jungle.

The town itself is the result of many villages growing and merging into one another and so retains a traditional village atmosphere in places, alongside cutting edge hotels and modern facilities, to produce a fascinating contrast of native and foreign, old and new.

Siem Reap hosts an incredible array of amazing ruins and temples. Among them, Angkor Wat is one of the wonders of the world, an enormous religious cité and the heart and soul of the Cambodian nation.
