The Spa at Charleston Place, with an endorsement by the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), is bringing you the “I Will Reflect” Melanoma Prevention Initiative. Our goal is to increase awareness of skin protection, thus aiding in the prevention of skin cancer.

“I Will Reflect” Spa Treatments
The Spa has developed an “I Will Reflect” (IWR) Facial treatment specifically for the initiative. Guests will experience the luxury of the Spa, while receiving sun safety tips and a skin consultation by a therapist. Your skin will be cleansed, exfoliated and retextured. The IWR Facial will regenerate your skin’s appearance, leaving you looking and feeling soft and smooth while protecting your skin from the sun’s harmful rays. In addition, each guests will receive an overall skin analysis and skincare education.

… and seek the shade between 10am and 4pm

… and have an annual full-body skin check

… and share this important message with others

Ask the Spa staff about the “I Will Reflect” bracelet that glows purple every time skin is exposed to harmful sun rays, reminding one to follow the rules of sun safety and skin protection. Every cent from the sale of the IWR bracelet, as well as 10% of the cost of the IWR Facial goes to the MUSC Foundation for research into skin cancer.
