Results for the publication’s 2009 Spa Poll announced in the April 2009 issue were derived from its annual Readers’ Choice Survey. The spas were rated on location, spa facilities, treatments, spa staff, rooms, service, food/dining, and design in the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Canada.  Charleston Place, the renowned Orient-Express hotel is home to The Spa at Charleston Place, has the honor of being named the number 8 top hotel spa and was one of only 3 spas to receive a 100 percent score for their treatments offered.
