The appeal of Chester, one of the oldest and most complete Roman walled cities, is as unique and memorable as the medieval black and white timbered “Rows” that overlook the central “cross”. With individual shops nestling within historic buildings and a cathedral, this is a destination of universal appeal.

A delicious brunch with Bellini is served on the outward journey. On arrival at Chester you are met by your guide who conducts you to the city centre. Your time is then your own to explore the sights or indulge in some shopping. Later you are taken to the magnificent sandstone Cathedral for a choral recital of Christmas music which is bound to put you in a festive mood.

Reboard the Northern Belle for the return journey. After a glass of chilled champagne, enjoy a four-course dinner accompanied by a half bottle of wine.
